Course details

This course has been organised in partnership with Birmingham Medsoc. Howewever, you do not need to be studying at Birmingham University to attend.

Pre Clinical Science exams are often the most challenging at medical school. We understand the stress associated with revision. Our aim is to support you by providing the most thorough learning package available to students.

The 2-day lecture series is split into 11 modules. Your ticket allows you to attend every lecture:
Saturday
0830 – 1245: Cells & Genetics and Neuromuscular.
1330 – 1815: Cardiovascular, Immunology, and Renal.
Sunday
0830 – 1245: Respiratory system, Endocrine and Digestive
1330 – 1730: Central Nervous System and Reproductive system.

The course is accompanied by a 260-page colour handout which covers everything in the lectures allowing you to focus on what is being said, not on scribbling notes. Often described as ‘incredible’, many use the Pre Clinical textbook as the basis for their revision.

Also, unlike any other course, for a full 6 months, you can re-watch all the lectures online and to consolidate your learning, test yourself with 500 exam level Single Best Answer Questions. The handout, slides, and online questions have all been reviewed and updated this year, resulting in the most comprehensive course we have ever run.

Lecturer

Leo Jurascheck

Leo is a clinical student at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge. His interests are in oncology and cell biology, having doubly intercalated during his preclinical studies to obtain a master’s degree in Biochemistry, with First Class Honours. He has taught hundreds of applicants and medical students up and down the country with One 2 One and in other contexts, and was recently elected a Bye-Fellow in Medicine of Murray Edwards College (Cambridge) for his work as a biochemistry supervisor for undergraduate medics and vets.
